It can’t all be good.

Here’s a bit of silliness that one of my characters wrote for a poetry contest in a novel I was attempting to write last year during NaNoWriMo.

The Lament of The Wilderman

by Henry the Plagiarist

the trees cloaked with green
have long turned sallow
the fields of my pride
have all gone fallow

I wandered and worried
and wept for a month
oh, to hear her laughter
again, just once.
