I was once a picture
of ignorant bliss
but
your touch
your love
your kiss
have turned me
into
an insatiable
wanting machine

That’s the best kind of machine to be.
I read this really interesting scientific article once that reported on testing brain chemicals. Apparently the ones emitted during “falling in love” were like amphetamines. You are up…then you are down. So…this is why they say people get addicted to falling in love.
Tested again in a long term relationship the chemicals emitted were like ….opiates. Interesante, no?
Very. I recently saw a TED talk about the very same effects. Fascinating. Natures drugs.
oooo…thanks I’ll look for it…
It is a lovely place to be, and I would say potentially ‘healing’ in many ways 🙂 ~ Wonderful post! ~RL
Thank you Robyn. It is a lovely place. 🙂
Perfect.
(I mean, perfectly written. Not, like, “evil laughter HAHAHAHA perfect! he’s tortured perfectly now!”)
Heh, Thank you. and I’m glad you weren’t engaging in a little schadenfreude.
Maybe just a little?
Ah, the truth comes out. My pain is your joy, just a little. 😛
Lucky you!
