consequence of caprice

You should not have touched me

my Goddess

for within you I have tasted Heaven

and its fire has burned away

my armor of ignorance

exposing every mortal nerve

to the unbearable ecstasy of your touch,

which once withdrawn,

leaves a cavernous emptiness

that nothing else on this earth

can fulfill
